PRIVACY POLICY

Beach Roasters LLC is a coffee roaster based in Long Beach, California. This policy covers the information we collect through beachroasterslb.com — our online shop, accounts, and Coffee Club subscriptions.

We collect information you give us directly:

• ·Account details — email address, name, and phone number if you create an account.
• ·Shipping and billing addresses, for delivering orders.
• ·Order history and Coffee Club subscription details.
• ·Your email address if you sign up for our newsletter (confirmed via a double opt-in link before you're added to the list).

We also collect a small amount of information automatically:

• ·Site analytics — when you visit a page, we log the page path, the referring page, and a truncated browser user-agent string against a random, first-party identifier stored in a cookie. We never read or store your IP address, and this identifier isn't linked to your account even if you're logged in.
• ·A cart identifier, so your cart persists across visits before you check out.

We never see or store your card number or security code. Checkout is handled by Authorize.net's hosted payment form — your card details go directly to them, and our systems only ever receive a payment token referencing it. For Coffee Club subscriptions, that same tokenized reference is used to process recurring charges.

• ·To fulfill and ship your orders, and to process Coffee Club subscription renewals.
• ·To operate your account — order history, saved addresses, and subscription management.
• ·To send order confirmations, shipping updates, and other transactional email.
• ·To send our newsletter, if you've opted in — every email includes an unsubscribe link.
• ·To understand site traffic and improve the site.

We don't sell your personal information. We share it only with the service providers who help us run the business, strictly to provide their service to us:

• ·Authorize.net (our payment processor) and Chase Payment Solutions, the merchant bank behind it — to process payments.
• ·Stamps.com/Endicia (and/or UPS/USPS) — to calculate shipping rates, validate addresses, and deliver orders.
• ·Microsoft 365 — to send transactional and newsletter email.

We use a small number of first-party cookies: one that keeps you signed in, one that remembers your cart, and one random, anonymous identifier for site analytics (see above). We don't use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.

Some pages include an embedded YouTube video. The video thumbnail itself doesn't load anything from YouTube — if you click play, YouTube (Google) may set its own cookies in your browser, governed by Google's privacy policy, not ours.

Do Not Track: our site does not currently change its behavior in response to a browser's “Do Not Track” signal.

Beach Roasters is a general-audience site and isn't directed at children. We don't knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13.

• ·You can review and update your account details, saved addresses, and subscriptions any time from your account page.
• ·You can unsubscribe from the newsletter using the link in any newsletter email.
• ·You can delete your account yourself, any time, from your account page.
• ·You can ask us to send you a copy of your personal information by contacting us below.
